1st dental appointment on Friday

Made an appointment on friday for my braces.

And just nice, the same old bracket dropped the day before the appointment. zzz..

The assistant commented that it’s most probably due to too much pressure on that particular bracket that’s why it kept dropping. No idea. haha.

Anyway, i got my fallen bracket fixed, braces tightened and rubber bands changed.

My dentist changed the color to pink.

He said, ‘Chinese New Year color’ =.= so funny lah. LOL

But I love this color. so nice. =X

My lower teeth still feel suan. But no feeling for my upper teeth. Sometimes really wonder if the dentist got tighten my upper teeth or not. >.<

So fast, 1 month already. 23 months to go. hahaa. what a loooong way.

Don’t know is it my illusion or what, I think one of my tooth actually moved a lot.

Went to school for talk later on in the afternoon.

All the talks basically talked about almost the same stuff. >.< so boring. I doubt I would wanna go for another talk again. What’s the point. I have yet to register myself for Uni.. haix. no time lah. hope I remember to register b4 the admission periods ends. Plan to register after my internship. Then give myself 1 week of rest before going out to work part-time.

Quite boring at school. End up in GQ’s class playing computer. I’m quite lucky that day.

Heard that anyone that doesn’t belong to this class will get kick out if caught by teachers.

And… a teacher really came to the class and check. I even went into eye contact with her! OMG. but she ignored me!

GQ’s classmate sitting at my side said i’m really lucky. HAHAA. I thought so too!

Me and GQ sat down and use the computer while waiting for sam to return from his project discussion.

So sian loh.. that period =(

After that, of course we rush to somereset to meet with the rest of the guys…. for KBOX.

I’m so cheated by KBOX.

The promotion, $8 per head with free drinks and tidbits. (YOUR HEAD)

The promotion is not valid on the day we went! oh gosh. but it cost $25 according to the staff. Ok loh. Although it’s expensive, but once in awhile, we should enjoy ourselves in somewhere nicer with better quality. That’s what I thought.

But here’s what I found:

1. No wide TV, normal small TV. I don’t expect plasma, but at least give us something wider.

2. Small room. I understand, this is okay.

3. Sofa no cushion. What should I hug while I wait for my song to come? >_<

4. Non user-friendly song selection screen: Poor sensitivity controller. Bad and messy layout of menu. Unable to search artist by alphabets.

5. Song LAGS: Sing halfway and the song just hang there for 2-3 seconds or so.. >_>

6. Faulty controller: Pauses the song when you didn’t press on pause.

7. Good air-conditioner: I guess this is the only good point

8. HIDDEN COSTES: END UP WE HAVE TO PAY $36 per head. D= *explodes* $26 is entrance fee is it!? I CAN USE THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY TO SING IN TEO HENG FOR 3 DAYS STRAIGHT AND WITH BETTER BETTER QUALITY AND STANDARD. (I can also buy a dress for cny with this amt of money. i can buy 1 shoe too.)

Reached Clarke Quay early in the morning at 8:15am. What am I here for?

Well..

Going for filming with Tao Nan School. The teachers and students will be interviewed about their experience and feeling on Mediascape. Luckily we’re not interviewed. haha. Clarice was really nervous then but still did well! Of course! She’s a teacher afterall haha.

Got to know 2 crew who were studying (about) the same course as me! haha. but of course they graduated long ago. But it’s great knowing and talking to them.

One of the student asked, “why must it be me?”

I told her, “cause you’re cute ma HAHA” but really.. she’s so cute =X

I heard the camera crew said they paid to film there. I’m wondering, who are they paying to? government ah?

When biting something is considered a crime.

Ever since I wore braces, I can’t bite on anything. If I bite, mr pain will find me. No exception when I’m asleep. Most people sleep with mouth closed right? Well, I did. Most people sleep halfway will unconsciously open their mouth as though they sleep so soundly right? Well, I did. And that’s when Mr pain comes and find me in the middle of the night.haix. why ah? can someone tell me why???

this few days, because I can only swallow food… i ate only:

Soft Cereal

NEW FOUND FOOD: XIAO MAN TOU! <3

I just bought yogurt too! =) soo nice.. hoho.. i have to ENJOY eating soft food. YEAH!

Mouthful of metals

Just got my braces on yesterday. Actually, I am only going there for my last 2 extractions, who knows, the nurse told me I could choose to put my braces on that day as well. Well, why not? why wait? Let’s get it over and done with as I have always wanted.

So my dentist first glued on the brackets onto each of my teeth. The glue really stinks. Smells like UHU glue. haha. Quite a lot of work here and it took around 1 hour or so? But my dentist very cute. HAHA. He will scream when he accidentally knock the brackets off its position.

After that, he injected my cheeks and gums with anesthetic. I hate this part the most because injections is painful!  While waiting for the numbing effects, he continue with the brackets. After that is the extraction. Quick and abit of pain for the upper tooth.

Next, the wires and rubber bands. He put on green rubber bands for me. hm. ok loh. veggies stuck in mouth. haha. And it’s all done. Not much pain except for the extractions ek! Feels like I have a swollen mouth now. The nurse instruct me not to explore my mouth or I might get ulcers. So no pain for the braces… until at night.. >_< my teeth suddenly feel pressurized. haix. can’t even sleep properly.

And now, I can’t talk, can’t eat, can’t LAUGH when I’m watching tv. haix. I can’t even finish up my mashed potatoes. =(

But I really have to applause myself for the bravery. =D *claps*

For the time being, I shall be the tooth-ache Honey Senpai..

In mental hospital’s train station?!

I find this quite a weird dream.

I was lying down on the floor in a train station. Not those normal MRT trains but those olden ones with steam.

So I was lying down trying to sleep. Not very near to the train rail. And my dad was sleeping beside me. (WEIRD!)

Seriously, how to sleep like that when there’s train passing by every few minutes or so?

So I sat down and look at the track, and start to read a comic book. Just then, I saw a guy hiding behind a pillar, looking our way. I just knew (in my dream) that that guy is a mentally ill person. And I shoo him off. =X

Anyway,

Morning…fright?!

Haix. It looks like i’m the ‘class representative’ for the NTU tour held today. Pyy and bao both cmi for some valid reasons. It’s alright since I will be joining YY and her classmates.

This morning is just like any other working mornings. I woke up at the same old 6am, get ready and off I go .. but this time round, I’m going to NTU. Taking the train all the way from Tampines to Boonlay. The total journey took around 1 hr. When I reached, I saw YY’s laopo, Jess. Saw her once, so I went forward and talked to her. Glad she still recognize me haha. Before YY reach, Jess saw her other classmate, the so-called GOD in their course (means top student lah), together with his best friend.

YY’s still sick though. Take good care of yourself lah. >.< (or else later spread to the whole office how?! =X)

Well, the most ‘thrilling’ experience of the day has yet to happen. When YY joined us, we went to queue up for the Shuttle bus service that will supposedly send us directly to the Audi. There’s this Indian uncle standing (cut queue one) behind us. Yes, UNCLE. So can you imagine, one whole queue of students, and here’s an uncle behind us. So this uncle suddenly talked, asking the time the bus will come. I thought he’s talking to us so I told him I had no idea. Then I realise he kept talking to himself, even when I didn’t reply him. Definitely, there’s something really wrong with him. And he started scolding us for not replying him. Oh god. yes GOD. The top student GOD is right infront of the queue, so we quickly join him, thinking we escaped from that uncle.

Haa.. guess what, the uncle went to the middle of the field, said something to the crowd of students. I can’t really hear what he’s saying. But he took off his waist pouch, threw it on the ground and ALMOST wanted to take off his shirt. But I guess he realise nobody is actually paying attention to him so he stopped. *phew*

I thought that’s the end of his ’show’. But he joined the queue once again and followed us on board but was stopped by the NTU representative and the driver. The driver stood up for some reason, looking confused. And the uncle went to took over the driver’s seat. The NTU rep came aboard and try to persuade the uncle to leave the driver’s seat. After some time, he finally gave up the seat and prepare to alight the bus. Then he turn to all of us onboard and said “I tell you, all of you here, will die today! die today!’  and then he alighted with the NTU rep.

Thanks for  the entertainment early in the morning. >.> So scary lah! I thought there’s a bomb on the bus or what. But luckily I went to sit with someone else (who is also sitting alone haha) on the bus. At least won’t feel so alone ma. So on the journey to NTU, we talked. She’s actually from Temasek JC (my bro’s junior ahha)! D= a young 18 years old girl, going for this all alone! How brave. But she’s going business school though. Glad to know new friends there. Too bad we got separated after our individual tour.

The auditorium.. slightly bigger than our school’s audi and it also have 2 foyers at the both side of the audi.

The school tour to the School of Computer engineering:

We went to a lecture hall in SCE. The tour is quite informative. The later part of the tour is basically a lecture. I really don’t get why we need to know all those stuff. Free lesson?

(My bro commented: HUH? school of computer engineering? so boring one! =X)

I totally missed my 2nd tour: School of Art, Design & Media. Oh well, there’s a talk on the 30th anyway. According to them, it will be more detailed. There’s another open house on a later date too.

Admission period will start at 1st of Feb for poly students. I think better prepare all the necessary stuffs before that.

Took another 1 hour back to tampines (faint) Going back for dinner with family. We went to the HK cafe in Tampines 1. The food there aren’t bad!

I ordered honey rib set.

Believe it or not, the whole set consist of whatever you seen on the above photo. Garlic Bread, Cream soup, Drink, and the main dish which consist of pork rib, corn (on a stick!), potato wedges and salad. I LOVE THE CORN. oh..so sweet. it’s irresistible. The pork rib is nice and sweet too! Yummy! (Skinny != eat very little)

PS: when I’m on the bus, I really though, what if i really die on the bus? hmm.. and I was thinking…I HOPE MY FAMILY GET BACK MY BRACES MONEY!  =X I haven even officially start on my braces and choy……. *touchwood*

LIARS!

Took a few zilian of…. my teeth (with a HUGE hole) HAAA~

Look at how uneven, how crooked it is. OMG. oh liars, whoever said that I don’t need braces… liars! =X

Now, whenever I talk, i can feel air/wind going in and out of that hole. So… weird. wonder what will happen when I extract the other 2 the next coming monday. Most importantly, HOW TO EAT?! *saying hi to mashed potatoes*

Sometimes, I really think that I have a short-sighted camera. Where did all my pimples gone? photos are liars too.

Tonight, got a date with Winnie. She went in and ‘chopped’ the seat first haha. But I arrived not long after.

She got a craving for Xiao Long Bao. Ahh.. seriously, why everyone wanted to go Ding Tai Feng? I don’t wanna go Ding Tai Feng already. Those who wanna go DTF with me… next year ba. =X really really sick of it already. sorry to say. 久久吃一次吧！饶了我吧！But of course, I will never forget the birthday party spent there =D I love you guys!

So I gave Winnie my presents. =D 1 hand lotion. Spending so much time in air-conditioned office, I know her hands are  desperately calling for help (even if it’s not, it’s good to prevent! aha). And also a Collagen Mask. Time to bao yang already =D

My something something mian…(forgot the name as usual) but i remember Winnie ate jajiangmian!

Update: it’s called dan dan noodle. thanks fel for helping me to regain my memory.
